Mariana Ruiz Johnson studied fine art and illustration of books for children. She has published books as an author and illustrator on all continents. In 2013 he received the Compostela Prize for Illustrated Album for his book «Mamá», published by Kalandraka and translated into ten languages. In 2015 she was the winner of the silent book competition Silent Book Contest with her book «While You Sleep», which was published in Italy by Carthusia Edizioni.
She currently lives in the outskirts of Buenos Aires with her husband and two children, and is dedicated to illustrate and write her own books.
